WebHey all, I’ve got a 2024 F450 that has an electronic tailgate. The tailgate on my truck won’t open. I’ve tried using the fob as well as the button on the tailgate. I’ve tried it with the vehicle locked and unlocked as well as with the vehicle running and not. I checked the tailgate release solenoid fuse and it’s still good. WebJul 3, 2024 · The book says the tailgate will not open if your going over a certain MPH or your battery voltage is low. So in my mind it thinks it is moving to fast or it thinks the voltage is to low or, the system that controls it is disabled somehow. I haven't tried popping the tailgate while I am driving with the FOB or the door code.
