WebDec 20, 2024 · Here it is: I finally got time to assemble it and install the SME IV, which resided on my Thorens321. I ordered the Gyrodec SE with the motor upgrade and the Orbe clamp. The motor is hidden below, in case you wonder. The Orbe clamp gave me an unexpected issue, though. I have also seen replacement motors on ebay. I had the same problem and replaced the motor on my Gyrodec. It works and sounds fine now. They are about to ship the Gyrodec SE in just a few more days. So far, I've only been able to locate two instruction manuals of setting this up. These instructions are still rather confusing.
WebJul 30, 2024 · Possibly, but the Gyrodec is a high end turntable (One of the best ever made) and a lot JA Michel (Transcriptor) turntables do usually have some type of speed control (Even going back to their70s models) which is the reason I mentioned it.
