Web22 feb. 2009 · Yea, It has a .480 lift / .280 duration cam in it making it only have 16 lbs. of vacuum, causing the MAP voltage to be at 2.8, making it run rich. He burnt a chip to reduce the fuel 12% and that lowered the MAP volts to 1.8, making it leaner. Runs better, waiting to get a scanner on it to let Troy know whats up. Thanks. Anyway, it looks like there are three options: Either a Howell or MOPAR TBI, and a MOPAR Multi-port Injection. For my 79 CJ I bought a 87 Suburban for $400, parted it out for just over $1000 and kept the GM fuel injection system plus $600. Take the path of most resistance. You can put the 4.0 head and it's F. I. on the 258 block, there's lots of info on that. But it moves the torque peak up about 1000 rpm like the 4.0. citing an act in apa
