The new ones came with 12-point non-locking nuts requiring a 3/8" socket. The ones that came off the old bolts were six-sided locking nuts requiring a 1/2" socket. The contacting surface of the new 12-pt. nut is actually slightly larger than the old nuts, if that matters.

WitrynaThe coil replaces the original threads. Essentially you drill out the hole with the correct bit size. You can then tap the hole and insert the coil.
