The present work aims to compare the scratch hardness ( 𝐻 𝑠) with the indentation hardness ( 𝐻 I T) obtained from nanoindentation measurements of exfoliated graphite/poly (methyl methacrylate) (EG/PMMA) composites. EG/PMMA composites with thickness 50 μ m each were produced by in situ melt mixing method.

Web28 feb. 2024 · We developed exfoliated graphite (EG)/acrylic composite films as protective coatings of 3D-printed PLA surfaces. This paper reports on the water contact angles (WCAs) and weight change behavior of 3D-printed PLA surfaces coated with EG/acrylic composite films under humid exposure. WebSalinity gradient energy, as a type of blue energy, is a promising sustainable energy source. Its energy conversion efficiency is significantly determined by the selective membranes. Recently, nanofluidic membrane made by two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials (e.g., graphene) with densely packed nanochannels has been considered as a high-efficient …
WebThe inert nature of graphitic samples allows for characterisation of rather isolated supported nanoparticles in model catalysts, as long as sufficiently large inter-particle distances are obtained. However, the low surface area of graphite and the little interaction with nanoparticles result in a challenging Web21 sep. 2015 · Figure 2a and b displays the SEM images of the graphite rod edge before and after electrochemical exfoliation, respectively. The graphite layers become thinner, which might have resulted from the expansion of the graphitic layers of rod. Compared to the graphite rod (Fig. 2a), the exfoliated graphene nanosheets show curled and overlapped …
