WebOnce in 10.2, you can have device state backup, config file backup etc, the downgrade process does not reconvert the current config in 10.1. so to go back to 10.1, you must take the last config/backup you had in 10.1. in my case it was months ago. Also, not everybody has multiple chassis to do such things.
