WebbI needed a new pair of pruners for a arbor with climbing roses. I decided on these. I trust the Fiskars name from all the scissors I own. They worked well on the rose bushes unless the limbs were a little larger and then I had to put more muscle behind it than the past pair owned. It did cut through the 1/4" to 1/2" without much effort. WebbIf your not worried about pruning it away from something else or greatly reducing it's size for any reason just.
