It is primarily intended for investigators, students and researchers that are familiar with mathematical models but are less familiar with the techniques for performing their sensitivity analysis. WebThe sensitivity analysis of optimization problems is called parametric programming or sometimes "post-optimal analysis". The short version is that you describe the variability of your optimization problem as a function of certain parameters, typically denotes as θ. Then, you calculate the optimization problem as a function of θ, i.e. x ∗ ( θ).
