The surf was high with up to 27 foot waves the day we visited. Lots of cool little trails and tide pool areas (which we unfortunate couldn't get into because of the high surfs). WebbNorth Point Beach is located at the very north end of Morro Bay right off scenic Highway 1. The Tide Pools, exposed at low tide, are located at the base of the long stairway at the end of Toro Lane. There are also many “access area” walkways or trials along Studio Drive to get to North Point Beach and then you can walk to the tidepools along the waterfront.
